A while ago there was an autumn craft exchange on the egl comm on LJ. Since the recipient has already received these I thought it safe to show them here in my blog as well.
They were wishing for a black sidebow with cotton lace and a pearl chain in the bow, and I did my best to deliver.
Detail photo. The fabric I used is black corduroy with machine made "bobbin lace", IDK the real term for it but most definitely cotton.
Detail of the pearl chain. Those two black ones are lava beads. I love those and besides as material they're about as Icelandic as can get.
I also made a wristlet with the same beads and pearls as an additional little something.
