Närcon 2014 Assassin's Creed report.

Exactly as it sounds like - all the Asscreeds that I managed to hunt down and capture during the convention! So let me present, without further ado, my Assassin's Creed cosplay collection from Närcon 2014.

First ones during the first day we got there. Million points for surviving in the temperatures, to all of you!

From the newest game. A fun person to talk to too, threw me two different poses (if you do this your chances of getting a good photo taken grow a lot btw)(esp. with people whose cameras have weird blurry moments but then recover immediately for the next shot).

As you can see, Ezio is the most popular (tho Connor also gets some love).

But as you can see the newest game got some cool cosplays too - the one before and this at least.

Närcon 2014 report 3: even moar cosplay!

Third post is a-go, with yet one more pic illustrating the heat wave to begin it. Thankfully Iceland greeted us with a walk-through-a-car-wash storm as we returned, felt right at home again...

More Vocaloid cosplay we found inside the Artist Alley.

A detail shot was a must.

An R2D2 who was apparently the only one zooming around in the sunlight without trouble.

Princess Leia slave version, sensual pose. Photo has not been edited at all, honest honest and a lock on top. :D

(After I took the photo he bid me adieu in my mother tongue and said "Hyvää yötä, Mustanaamio on hyvä Batman" = "Good night, the Phantom is a good Batman.)(I'm a fangirl now.)

Here's one that almost got away. I saw this Sue from Clover a few times but always so far away that the scorching sunlight made chasing her impossible. Then we accidentally found her in the C-building, sitting on a window sill (which was actually pretty perfect for the photos!).

Back detail. I can't get over how well constructed her whole outfit was, and how her wings seemed to be attached to her back - it looked very natural!

Again, I'm a fangirl. :D

Re-L Mayer of Ergo Proxy. I have such weakness for this anime and this character... :333

Here's an outfit that I don't recognize and chances are it's actually not a cosplay, rather steampunk in which case it would be in the wrong entry (the fashion photos will be put in the next entry). Lemme know if you can tell me for sure!

Quite an epic Scarecrow. Loved the texture of the outfit, and that mask and glove!

Magic Man from The Adventure Time. :D

I'm certain this one's from Bioshock but I'm having trouble placing it. One of the Big Daddies? Man I should prolly just google that how about it yes indeed it IS a Big Daddy from Bioshock, Alpha Series render.

Chell from Portals, I ran after her so fast I almost tackled her by accident (augh pls all gods never let that happen)(no really, worst thing you can do to a cosplayer with awesome props: anything that might damage said awesome props). My apologies!

Närcon 2014 report 2: more cosplay!

One of the best things of Swedish language is how many words of it mean something rather... interesting in other languages. "Slut" and "fart" some to mind first but hay "elin" (= "organ" in Finnish, commonly used to mean penis) is also good. :D I swear I'm not five years old I just act that way ok?

Not gonna lie this is one of the best Vocaloid groups I've ever seen.

Homestuck cosplay level amazing: I don't follow Homestuck myself and have no idea which troll is called what, but after some quick googling I'm going to suggest this one's Nepeta Leijon. Lemme know if I'm wrong though!

Ahem, Kaoru Mori is my favourite mangaka so god-tier cosplay of her characters keeps me happy for weeks. Amir Halgal and Karluk Eihon.

'Scuseme while I die. I also have vast loads of respect for these two to survive in the heat despite wearing several layers of wool. The outfits were exactly how they were in the manga, apparently even down to the underwear!

They, or at least Amir here, had also met Kaoru Mori herself when she visited Finland. She had signed the inside of Amir's hat! 

Btw all the decorations on these outfits were hand embroidered. I spend a long while admiring it. ;V;

I saw this Mankanshoku Mako only fleetingly during the daylight, but she looked just as awesome in the dark with her glowing life fibres. If you recognize yourself here and have any photos of your outfit in the daylight I'd love to include one here in this entry (if you don't mind of course, and with credit/linking as you prefer it).

Kaonashi in the night. After I took this photo and walked away he turned to stare at us for the longest time... I wish I had a daylight photo of this one as well since my camera cannot handle the dark.

There was an Ivy too but she was busy repairing a glove and declined a photo because obviously no cosplayer wants photos of an outfit that's lacking an important part. But we got a stand-in for Ivy instead. :DDD

(Shout-out to said Ivy tho, your outfit was awesome!)

Vi, League of Legends. This cosplay was among last year's NCC winners and no wonder, it was really amazing to see up close. The fingers move by the way!

Ummm... help with character again? Unless of course this one is instead going for a generic youkai - but again I'm a little stumped as to which one it could be...

This one's more of a generic view to the convention. Crazy sunshine, crazy temperatures, we tried to slink along what little shade we could find and I still burned my nose. -.-;
