Snorri's clocks.

The other day I woke up, crawled to my desk as is my morning habit, and sitting there at my computer I suddenly started hearing this tic tic tic tic tic from above. I looked and lo! and behold! there was a new clock.

Snorri collects clocks. Our whole apartment is full of them. He often buys them from Kolaportið: the viking ship clock was bought the same time I got my new cups.

Not all of them work, but enough do to fill the whole place with non-stop, quiet and oddly soothing tickticketyticktoctickytictoc. Sometimes they suddenly tic in unison and that, my friends, is well freaky!

They come in many shapes but the one thing they have in common is awesomeness.

Our kitchen clock (a gift from R and K) and my puffin calendar.

Snu says it would be cool to have them all working. Then he would set them in different cities' times.

He could do it already methinks.

A detail shot. Text says Good Friends. Sum Finn got this for him for Bobmas.

I like this one a lot.

Group shot!

Cute detail is cute.

I think this is his favourite, or at least among the very favourite ones. I don't wonder why.

I love this one too.

The rest.

  1. So pretty. If me and my fiancée ever visit Island he'd love to fix those for you. (He's a watch maker and loves old clocks.)

  2. Woohoo that would be so cool! Especially if the black ballerina clock would work again...
