To Jökulsárlón and back pt4.

A bird cliff on the opposite side of the road of a large gas station in Vík.

Random mountain photo taken because OMG FACE ON THE MOUNTAIN WHY

Vatnajökull in the distance over Mýrdalssandur.

After Vík begins one of the rare boring areas of Iceland. There's nothing except for sand and dry grass for as long as the eye can see.

After that there's the Eldhraun, another stretch of nothingness but in a different way. It's just bumps and bumps of moss covered lava.

It looks pretty much like this for a loooooooong time.

Nearing Kirkjubæjarklaustur the scene changes into Tit Country. Kirkjubæjarklaustur is the only stop between two deserts so if driving this way you should plan a pit stop here.

A beautiful waterfall near Dverghamrar.

Dverghamrar itself as seen from on top of a hill.

These sort of basalt pillars are very typical to southern Iceland. The stone pillars are hexagonal in shape, looking quite unreal when seen IRL. Ok they look unreal in a photo as well.

Theeeeere the waterfall!

One tourist on the rocks.

Ending this entry with another panorama picture, taken from on top of Skógafoss.
