Book meme!

Hajamiel of Written Before Dawn gave me this book meme thingy so let's get to business!

The idea is to answer to the questions with the book titles that you find from your bookshelf.

1. Male orFemale?
I Am a Cat /Souseki Natsume

2. Describe yourself?

Skugga-Baldur /Sjón
(Official translation is Blue Fox but it's not completely correct; a Skugga-Baldur is a mythical beast that's half cat, half fox, not one and neither the other)

3. Describe your partner?

Mikael Karvajalka /Mika Waltari :D
(The Adventurer/Mikael the Finn are both official translations of the name, but in reality it would translate as Mikael Hairleg)

4. How do you feel?
Hundraåringen som klev ut genom fönstret och försvann /Jonas Jonasson

(The Hundred-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared)

5. The place where you live atm?
  Bókasafn ömmu Huldar /Þórarinn Leifsson

(One translation of the name would be Grandma Hulda's Library, but there's a bit of a lol!pun in it)

6. Where would you like to travel?

Antique Bakery /Yoshinaga Fumi

7. Your favorite color?
How Green Was My Valley /Richard Llewellyn

8. The weather at the moment?

Death in the Clouds /Agatha Christie
(Well, hopefully not, but as this is Iceland there may instead be lots of water in them)

9. The best time of the day?

The Setting Sun /Osamu Dazai

10. If your life was a TV series, it's name would be...?

Skyggnir Íslendingar /Oscar Clausen
(Clairvoyant Icelanders, it's actually a historical study on Icelandic people who have been considered clairvoyant throughout the time)(As for why it would be called that, because it sounds awesomely cool and I got to choose! :D)

11. What does the life mean to you?

The Master and Margarita /Mikhail Bulgakov
(And before people accuse me of SM and alcoholism I'd like to point out that it's more the message of this book, not the name of it - fail reply for the meme but it could not be any other book, sry)

12. What is your relationship like?

Sugar Baby: Confections, Candies, Cakes & Other Delicious Recipes for Cooking with Sugar /Gesine Bulloc-Prado

13. The aphorism of the day?

Catch-22 /Joseph Heller

"There was only one catch and that was Catch-22, which specified that a concern for one's safety in the face of dangers that were real and immediate was the process of a rational mind. Orr was crazy and could be grounded. All he had to do was ask; and as soon as he did, he would no longer be crazy and would have to fly more missions. Orr would be crazy to fly more missions and sane if he didn't, but if he were sane he had to fly them. If he flew them he was crazy and didn't have to; but if he didn't want to he was sane and had to. Yossarian was moved very deeply by the absolute simplicity of this clause of Catch-22 and let out a respectful whistle."

14. What advice would you like to give?

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy /Douglas Adams
(Or more importantly the most important advice of said guidebook: Don't Panic. In large, friendly letters of course.)

16. Your motto?

Kokoro /Natsume Soseki
(Mostly because of a inside joke but you know, YOLO)

And then I shall tag the following to do this same meme because it was hard and suffering alone is not my thing:

Asio Otus of Irreversible Inspiration
Mlle Parapluie of Päivänvarjon alla
Hessu of Rasselitukkoja ja kissanpentuja
